Posted Feb 04, 2022
There’s no need to delay your trip to paradise any longer - Tobago is open to travellers and ready to welcome visitors! While it’s not quite business as usual, for now the beaches are open from 5AM to 6PM, and mask mandates are in place for your protection for both indoor and outdoor activities. However, that doesn’t mean there’s still not a lot to see and do on this action-packed island.
Here’s a look at 5 fun and unique things to see and do beyond the beach:
1. SATISFY YOUR FOOD CRUSH
Be sure to make the most of your visit to Tobago and enjoy a meal and more at Shore Things Café and Craft. Every 1st Saturday of every month at the “The Market” from 8am – 3pm, you’ll find friendly vendors selling keepsake crafts, unique souvenirs, homemade soaps, wines, jewellery, and so much more.
While visiting, be sure to satisfy your sweet tooth at Tobago Chocolate Delight conveniently located adjacent to the café. The only ‘Artisan Chocolate Manufacturer’ in Tobago, more than 30 varieties of chocolate are featured here. You can choose from truffles, dark, milk, and white chocolates made bean-to-bar exclusively using 100% local cocoa. Founded by Jean Claude Petit, he offers guests the ultimate Chocolate Experience, a sweet hands-on activity (Cost $150TT / person) you won’t want to miss. Guests of all ages can learn the history of cocoa and experience the art of tempering, moulding, and creating decadent truffles and chocolate bars while soaking in glorious ocean views.
