Posted Nov 12, 2021
Whether you’re planning a wedding for 2 or 202, we are here to help you organise an event that is perfect for you from the moment you touch down on the island to the moment you board your flight home.
With so much to do in Tobago, we are the ideal location for hosting your bachelor/bachelorette celebrations and your post-wedding honeymoon – so why not join us for longer?
Let us inspire you – see below our suggestions on how to make all of your wedding celebrations a Tobago party!
Pre-wedding
If you’re looking for a bachelor/bachelorette location where you can try a wide range of activities, party like a local AND relax on some of the Caribbean’s best unspoilt beaches, then Tobago is the island for you!
Adventure seekers can organise exciting group activities that are ideal for bachelor/bacherlorette parties who want to explore Tobago or try a new skill – including, diving , snorkelling, Stand Up Paddleboarding, kite boarding, fishing, mountain biking or hiking.
To make this time special for you and your party, why not book something extra unique?
- Beach bonfire – who can say no to a party on the beach? A bonfire party wouldn’t be complete without raw sugar can sticks soaked in rum punch under the open sky, whilst you and your guests dance to local music – amazing!
- Catamaran cruise – hit the open water on a catamaran and enjoy a relaxing day of swimming, snorkeling, sunbathing and even exclusive spa services. The perfect start to your wedding celebrations.
- Picnics – enjoy our traditional Tobagonian dishes on the go with a picnic lunch on the beach or in the rainforest. Ideal for smaller parties
Prefer to kick back and relax ahead of the wedding?
Take advantage of our many beaches around the island – unspoilt and naturally gorgeous, we dare you not to feel refreshed and rejuvenated after spending time sunbathing and swimming! Plus they are surrounded by local restaurants serving traditional Tobagonian dishes and cocktails – bliss!

After the wedding
Don’t rush off home after the big day – why not make us your honeymoon location as well or simply just enjoy an extended holiday with your guests?
Take this time to explore our island and discover more about our heritage at one of our historical sites such as Fort King George or Buccoo Historical Park. Or head into the rainforest to try and spot some of our wildlife – did you know Gilpin Trace is home to some of the rarest hummingbirds in the world? Depending on the time of year, you can also book a romantic turtle watching tour at Turtle Beach, Grafton Bay or Stone Haven Bay – it’s definitely one for your honeymoon bucket list!
At the end of the day you can head home to a private villa such as Ohana Villas for a late night swim in your own infinity pool overlooking the ocean – sounds like heaven!
